Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of wilburncreations.com and the Wilburn Creations pattern membership. The service is operated by Wilburn Group LLC, doing business as Wilburn Creations, 731 SE Alices Rd # 5871, Waukee, IA 50263, USA ("we", "us", "Wilburn Creations"). By subscribing you agree to what follows.

1. What we sell

Wilburn Creations is a digital subscription. Members get access to our online library of crochet and quilting patterns, supplied as downloadable PDF files, together with the supporting guides and video material published in the library. New designs are added on an ongoing basis. No physical goods are manufactured, sold, or shipped under this agreement.

2. Subscription terms and recurring billing

Four plans are offered. You pay the sign-up price today; 36 hours after your purchase the monthly membership begins and renews automatically each month until you cancel it.

By completing checkout you authorise us to store your payment credentials with our payment processor and to charge them on the schedule above without further authorisation from you, until the subscription is cancelled. We send an email reminder before your monthly membership begins 36 hours after purchase.

All amounts are in US dollars and are inclusive of any sales tax where we are required to charge it. If your card is issued in another currency, your bank sets the exchange rate and may add a conversion fee we neither receive nor control. If a payment fails we may retry it a small number of times over the following days; if it keeps failing, access is suspended until the balance is settled.

Prices may change. If they do, we will tell you by email at least thirty days before the new price applies to your subscription, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Cancel from the account area, from our cancellation page, by emailing support@wilburncreations.com, or by calling +1 (414) 401-7032. Cancellation takes effect immediately for future billing: no further charge is made once you have cancelled. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

There is no cancellation fee, no notice period, no retention process, and no requirement to speak to anyone. A request counts from the moment you send it, not from when we process it.

4. Delivery of digital content

Access is granted electronically and immediately on payment. Nothing is posted or shipped. Full details of what you receive and when are in our Delivery Policy, which forms part of these terms. You consent to the digital content being made available to you immediately, and you acknowledge that by downloading files you may lose any statutory right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply to digital content in your jurisdiction.

All patterns, photographs, text, video, layouts, and other material in the library remain the property of Wilburn Group LLC or of our licensors, and are protected by copyright. The licence in section 5 is permission to use that material within stated limits; it transfers no ownership. Our name, logo, and branding may not be used without written permission. If you believe material on the site infringes your copyright, write to support@wilburncreations.com with enough detail to identify the work and we will investigate promptly.

7. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe. Keep your login details to yourself; the account is for your personal use and may not be shared, sold, or used by more than one household. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into it. Files you downloaded while your membership was active remain yours to keep and use under the licence above after you cancel — we do not remotely disable or expire downloaded PDFs.

8. Availability and changes to the library

We aim to keep the library available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, upgrades, and faults happen. Individual patterns may occasionally be revised, corrected, or withdrawn — for example where an error is found or where a licence with a designer ends. The overall size and character of the library will not be materially reduced during a period you have paid for.

9. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break into, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, and do not use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used to distribute our files, or that is used fraudulently. Where we close an account for a breach, no refund is due.

10. Disclaimers

The service and the patterns are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind beyond those the law requires. We do not warrant that a pattern will suit a particular purpose, or that following one will produce a specific result — crafting outcomes depend on your materials, tension, and technique. Yarn weights, gauge, and finished dimensions are given as guidance, not guarantees.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you arising out of or connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks

Refunds are dealt with in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us before contacting your bank. We can usually resolve a billing problem within one business day, and there are situations — a charge after cancellation, a duplicate charge, an incorrect amount — that we refund without argument. A chargeback takes weeks and gives us no way to simply put the matter right for you.

Filing a chargeback for a subscription you used and did not cancel may result in the account being closed. Nothing here affects your legal right to dispute a charge with your card issuer, and we will not penalise you for exercising a right you are entitled to.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that point means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top always shows the current version.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any consumer rights you have under the law of the place you live.
